An Industrial Closed Circuit Counter-Flow Cooling Tower is a heat rejection device that cools process fluids (usually water or glycol mixtures) without exposing them directly to the air, ensuring clean, uncontaminated fluid circulation — ideal for industrial process cooling, HVAC, and machinery cooling.


1. Industrial Closed Circuit Counter-flow Cooling Tower Working Principle


A closed circuit cooling tower operates with a coil (heat exchanger) inside the tower.

In a counter-flow design, air moves vertically upward, opposite to the spray water that flows downward over the coil.

Process fluid circulates inside the coil (closed loop).

Spray water is pumped and sprayed over the coil to absorb heat.

Ambient air is drawn upward by a fan, removing heat via evaporation.

The spray water is cooled in the process, collected in the basin, and recirculated.


This ensures the process fluid never contacts air, staying clean and corrosion-free.
