Product Description
Closed cooling tower is an efficient and energy-saving cooling equipment, which is widely used in industry, commerce and HVAC systems. Different from the open cooling tower, the closed cooling tower exchanges heat through a closed circulation system, which avoids the direct contact between the cooling medium and the outside air.
Principle of operation
The cooling medium (usually water) is evenly sprayed onto the fill material inside the cooling tower through a spray device, forming a thin film of water. Hot air enters from the bottom of the cooling tower and exchanges heat with the water film, transferring heat to the water film and causing partial evaporation of the water, thereby removing heat. At the same time, due to the crossflow design, the air can flow both upward and horizontally within the cooling tower, increasing the contact area and contact time between the air and water, thus improving heat exchange efficiency. In a closed system, the cooling medium is isolated from the external air, preventing the entry of impurities and pollutants, while also reducing water evaporation losses, enhancing cooling efficiency and water quality stability. | ![]() |

The circulating water of the closed cooling tower through the closed inner circuit is not polluted and can be used continuously. The relative evaporation of spray water is less, which protects the environment to a great extent.
Easy Maintenance
Since the cooling medium circulates within a closed system, it prevents the entry of external impurities and contaminants. This significantly reduces issues such as scaling and corrosion in the cooling system, extends the equipment's service life, and decreases maintenance workload and costs.
Intelligent control
Closed cooling towers are usually equipped with fans and pumps controlled by frequency conversion, which can dynamically adjust the running state according to the actual cooling demand to avoid unnecessary energy.
Low noise design
Closed cooling towers usually adopt low noise design, and the frequency conversion control of fans and pumps further reduces the operating noise and improves the working environment.
