  • Precautions for Design and Selection

1.Standard Design Conditions:Inlet water temperature: 37°C,Outlet water temperature: 32°C,Wet bulb temperature: 28°C,Dry bulb temperature: 31.5°C,Atmospheric pressure: 9.94×10⁵ Pa.

2.If the design conditions do not match the above, please contact our company's sales personnel for re-selection and proposal development, as special design is required.

3.The cooling tower should be installed in a well-ventilated location, maintaining a certain distance from surrounding obstacles to ensure smooth ventilation.

4.The installation location must be away from places where dust, acidic gases, chimneys, and heat sources are present.

5.When selecting the model, pay attention to the surrounding environment and choose the appropriate type based on noise requirements. For locations such as hotels, offices, hospitals, and residential areas, the impact of noise must be considered. Alternatively, our company's sales personnel can assist in providing a technical solution.

6.Different models have different sump heights. Note that they cannot be used in parallel.

7.If the circulating water contains acids, oils, or corrosive contaminants, please contact our company's sales personnel during the selection process to provide a reasonable selection plan and recommend alternative materials.

8.When selecting a high-temperature tower or for industrial water applications, if the temperature conditions exceed 45 degrees Celsius, a separate selection should be made.

9.Due to site limitations or special requirements, our company can design according to customer specifications.

  • Precautions for Piping

1.The cooling tower must be installed level and cannot be tilted. The base must be securely fastened.

2.The main outlet pipe must not be higher than the sump. The sump must not be used as a support or fixing point for the inlet and outlet main pipes.

3.The inlet branch pipes should be supported with brackets and must not allow the cooling tower to bear the weight of the pipes directly.

4.Valves should be installed on the inlet branch pipes to regulate the water flow, which facilitates the balanced control of water levels in each sump.

5.Pipes with threaded connections should be fixed with supports to prevent shaking during water replenishment.

6.After the motor power wiring is completed, it should be sealed to prevent water ingress.

7.The use of electric welding, gas cutting, and similar operations is strictly prohibited inside and at the top of the cooling tower to prevent fires.

  • Precautions for Operation and Maintenance

1.Before commissioning and operation, it is necessary to remove debris from the water sump and carefully inspect the condition of the fan, motor, and reducer. After gently rotating them by hand, perform an electrical test run. Only continue operation if there are no abnormal sounds.

2.After running for 72 hours, adjust the belt again. It should not be too tight, as this can cause bearing damage, nor too loose, as this can lead to belt slippage and overheating.

3.After 7 days of operation, if there is any slack in the belt, the tension of the belt needs to be adjusted again to ensure it is properly tightened.

4.During regular operation, pay attention to the water level in the sump. It is essential to maintain a certain depth to avoid air suction due to an empty sump.

5.In winter, when the cooling tower is not in use, all the water in the sump should be drained to prevent freezing and bursting of the pipes.

6.When the equipment is shut down for an extended period, the belt must be loosened to reduce unnecessary tension.

7.Pay attention to regular inspection and maintenance, and add lubricating grease on a regular basis.
