Air Cooled Chiller Principle of Operation
The air-cooled chiller achieves cooling through a refrigeration cycle system, and its core working principle is as follows:
Refrigerant cycle
Evaporative heat absorption: Liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat of chilled water in the evaporator, evaporates into low-temperature and low-pressure gas, and cools the chilled water (usually outputting 7-12 ℃ cold water).
Compression heating: The compressor compresses low-temperature gaseous refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gas, which is then transported to the condenser.
Condensation heat dissipation: High temperature refrigerant is forced to ventilate and dissipate heat through a fan in the condenser, condensing into high-pressure liquid.
Throttling and pressure reduction: The expansion valve throttles and reduces the pressure of the high-pressure liquid refrigerant, which then re enters the evaporator to complete the cycle.
Air cooling system
By using an axial flow fan to draw ambient air into the condenser, the refrigerant heat is directly carried away without the need for a cooling tower or external water source, and the heat dissipation efficiency is affected by the ambient temperature.
